Ola Electric, a leading electric two-wheeler company, has introduced its latest electric motorcycle, the Roadster.
Available in three variants—Roadster, Roadster Pro, and Roadster X—this motorcycle can be booked for just ₹999.
Ola showcased the Roadster in a teaser video posted on X (formerly Twitter), featuring its sleek design and performance.
The Roadster comes with modern features such as an LED projector headlamp, TFT touchscreen display, auto hill-hold assistance, voice commands, parking assist, and group navigation.
It’s set to be a game-changer in the electric two-wheeler market.
Pricing and Performance Details
The Roadster X starts at ₹74,999 with a 2.5 kWh battery pack, offering a 0-40 km/h acceleration in 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 124 km/h.
Its range is claimed to be 200 km on a single charge, and it comes with a 4.3-inch touchscreen.
For higher performance, the Roadster variant with a 2.5 kWh battery costs ₹1,04,999, the 4.5 kWh variant is ₹1,19,999, and the 6 kWh variant is ₹1,39,999.
It accelerates from 0-40 km/h in 2.2 seconds, with a top speed of 126 km/h and a range of up to 579 km on a single charge.
The top-tier Roadster Pro variant has a 0-40 km/h acceleration time of just 1.2 seconds, a top speed of 194 km/h, and a range of 579 km.
It features a 10-inch touchscreen. The 8 kWh battery variant costs ₹1,99,999, while the 16 kWh variant is priced at ₹2,49,999.
Sales and Delivery Updates
Deliveries of the Roadster will begin early next year, with the Roadster Pro expected to reach customers by Diwali 2025.
Ola Electric has seen rapid growth, with sales increasing by 57% in the first quarter of the financial year and over two lakh units sold in the first half of 2024.
