London-based tech brand Nothing is all set to launch its new Phone 4a series in India on March 5, 2026.

The lineup is expected to include two models — Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro — both targeting the highly competitive mid-range smartphone market.

With rivals like OnePlus and Xiaomi already dominating this segment, the upcoming launch could shake things up in 2026.

Fresh Design, New Colours And Glyph Upgrade

Nothing has already started teasing the Phone 4a series, building excitement ahead of launch.

The standard Phone 4a is expected to arrive in Black, Blue, Pink, and White.

The Pro model may come in Black, Silver, and Pink.

The company has also teased the White version, highlighting an upgraded Glyph Bar mini-LED lighting system — a signature design element that makes Nothing phones stand out.

The transparent back design is expected to stay, but with subtle refinements.

In India, the phones will likely be sold via Flipkart.

Display And Performance: What’s Changing?

Both phones are rumoured to feature large 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED displays for sharp visuals and vibrant colours.

However, there could be a key difference:

Phone 4a: 120Hz refresh rate

Phone 4a Pro: 144Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming

Under the hood, the standard model may run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset.

The Pro variant is expected to feature the more powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, promising better performance for gaming and multitasking.

Camera And Battery: Bigger Upgrades Expected

Both models are likely to feature triple rear cameras.

But the Pro version could take photography to the next level.

It may include a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom — a rare feature in this segment.

That means sharper zoom shots without losing detail.

The phones are also expected to carry an IP65 rating, offering protection against dust and water splashes.

On the battery front:

Phone 4a may pack a 5,400mAh battery with 50W fast charging.

Phone 4a Pro could offer a battery between 5,080mAh and 5,500mAh, though charging speed is yet to be confirmed.

Expected Price In India

In European markets, the pricing is expected to be:

Phone 4a

EUR 409 (around Rs 44,000) for 8GB + 256GB

EUR 449 (around Rs 48,000) for 12GB + 256GB

Phone 4a Pro

EUR 499 (around Rs 54,000) for 8GB + 128GB

EUR 569 (around Rs 61,000) for 12GB + 256GB

For comparison, the earlier Nothing Phone 3a series launched in India at much lower prices, which suggests the new models could see a price bump if these figures hold true.

With improved displays, upgraded processors, better zoom cameras, and refined design, the Phone 4a series could be Nothing’s most ambitious mid-range launch yet.

Now all eyes are on March 5 to see if it truly delivers.
