EPFO Update: Employees can now check their Provident Fund (PF) balance without needing to log into the EPFO portal.
The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) offers two easy ways to check your PF balance: through a missed call and SMS service.
These services are especially helpful for those who don’t have internet access or prefer not to use the online portal.
How to Check PF Balance via Missed Call
To check your PF balance using a missed call:
Give a missed call to 9966044425 from your registered mobile number.
The call will be disconnected automatically.
You will receive an SMS with your PF balance and last contribution.
This service is free of charge.
Get PF Details via SMS
To receive PF details through SMS:
Send an SMS with the message EPFOHO UAN to 7738299899 from your registered mobile number.
You will get information about your balance, last contribution, and KYC status.
If you want the information in a different language, you can add the language code to the message. For example:
For Hindi: EPFOHO UAN HIN
For Punjabi: EPFOHO UAN PUN
For Gujarati: EPFOHO UAN GUJ
For Marathi: EPFOHO UAN MAR
For Kannada: EPFOHO UAN KAN
For Telugu: EPFOHO UAN TEL
For Tamil: EPFOHO UAN TAM
For Malayalam: EPFOHO UAN MAL
For Bengali: EPFOHO UAN BEN
