Nissan India has made its popular compact SUV, the Magnite, more comfortable by launching a CNG version with an automated manual transmission (AMT).

Earlier, this model was only available with a manual gearbox. The new AMT option makes city driving smoother and easier.

The Nissan Magnite CNG AMT is now available in 11 variants, with prices ranging from ₹6.34 lakh to ₹9.70 lakh (ex-showroom).

Easier and Safer CNG Refueling

Nissan has improved the refueling process in the new model. The CNG filling valve is now inside the fuel lid, allowing drivers to fill CNG from the rear, just like petrol.

Previously, the engine hood had to be opened for CNG refueling, which was less convenient.

This change makes refueling safer and easier. Additionally, the car comes with a standard warranty of 3 years or 1,00,000 km.

Engine, CNG Kit, and Pricing

The Magnite’s 1.0-litre, 72hp naturally aspirated petrol engine variants can now be fitted with a company-approved CNG kit.

Price of Magnite CNG AMT: ₹6.34 lakh – ₹9.70 lakh

Price of top manual variant: ₹9.20 lakh

CNG kit cost: Around ₹72,000 (reduced by ₹3,000 after GST 2.0 changes)

Why the Magnite CNG AMT is a Great Choice

The Nissan Magnite CNG was already popular for low running costs, good mileage, and SUV styling.

With the new AMT option, it now offers both the convenience of automatic driving and the savings of CNG.

Nissan claims this model will provide smoother driving, better mileage, and lower maintenance costs.

As petrol and diesel prices continue to rise, demand for CNG vehicles in India is growing fast. Many car manufacturers are now introducing CNG versions of their popular models.

The AMT variant of the Nissan Magnite CNG offers a modern and affordable option for city drivers looking for convenience and cost savings.
