Nissan Motor India has brought great news for car buyers ahead of Diwali. The company has introduced CNG retrofitment for the automatic (EZ-Shift) variant of its popular compact SUV, the Nissan Magnite.
Earlier, this option was limited to manual variants, but due to strong customer demand, it has now been extended to the automatic model. Nissan has also added a new integrated fuel lid design to make refueling easier.

This update is a big relief for customers who prefer the convenience of an automatic car but also want the savings of CNG.
The Nissan Magnite BR10 EZ-Shift (AMT) will now come with a government-approved CNG kit.
Customers can get their automatic Magnite fitted with the CNG system at company-authorized centers, ensuring complete safety and reliability.
Easier and smarter fuel-filling system
Nissan has redesigned the fueling setup based on customer feedback and international standards. Earlier, the CNG filling valve was located near the engine.
Now, it has been moved to the main fuel lid, allowing both petrol and CNG to be filled from the same place. This update not only makes refueling quicker but also far more convenient.
Price and warranty details
Nissan has reduced the price of its CNG retrofit kit following the GST rate cut from 28% to 18%. The kit now costs ₹71,999.
Even with the addition of the integrated fuel lid, the company has kept the price unchanged.
The kit also comes with a 3-year or 100,000 km warranty, giving customers long-term peace of mind.
Strong on safety and features
The Nissan Magnite is not just efficient but also one of the safest cars in its segment.
Safety: All variants come with six airbags as standard. The SUV has earned a 5-star GNCAP safety rating, proving its strong build quality.
Warranty: Nissan is also offering a 10-year extended warranty plan, a first in its category.
Special Edition: Recently, the company launched the KURO Special Edition, featuring an all-black exterior and stylish interior design.
Availability across 13 states
This CNG retrofitment service is available at Nissan-authorized centers in 13 states, including Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Tamil Nadu.
The CNG kit is developed by Motogen Fuel Systems and meets all government safety standards.
