Tata Harrier and Safari are the first SUVs in India to receive a 5-star safety rating from India NCAP. Both models are known for their safety and great features.
Recently, Tata has updated these models with new color options and added ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) features for improved safety.
New Color Options for Tata Harrier and Safari
For the Tata Harrier, new colors have been introduced. The Adventure and Fearless trims now come in Ash Gray, which was previously available only on the Smart and Pure trims.
Additionally, the Seaweed Green shade, earlier exclusive to the Adventure trim, is now available on the Fearless variant.
The Smart and Pure trims also get new colors: Coral Red and Pebble Grey, which were previously only offered on higher trims.
Lunar White is now the standard color across the entire Harrier lineup, and the Sunlit Yellow color is exclusive to the top-end Fearless trim.
Additionally, the Oberon Black color will now be available across all trims, except the entry-level Smart variant.
For the Tata Safari, the Smart and Pure trims are available in Galactic Sapphire and Stardust Ash colors.
The High Adventure and Accomplished trims are now offered in Lunar Slate, while Supernova Copper is available on the top-end Accomplished trim.
The Stellar Frost shade is available across all variants, and the Cosmic Gold shade remains exclusive to the top-end trim.
ADAS Update and Other Details
Along with the new color options, both the Tata Harrier and Safari SUVs now come with an updated ADAS suite, which includes features like Lane Centering Assist
and Lane Keep Assist. These features are available on the Adventure+ A, Fearless+, and Accomplished+ variants.
Owners of the updated Harrier and Safari models, which were introduced last October, can get this update for free at their nearest Tata dealership.
There are no other changes to the Harrier and Safari. Both SUVs continue to be powered by a 2.0-liter diesel engine that produces 170bhp of power and comes with either a manual or automatic gearbox.
The Tata Harrier is priced at Rs 14.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Tata Safari starts at Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
