New Rules for Bank of Baroda Credit Card Lounge Access

If you are a Bank of Baroda (BoB) credit card holder and use it for airport lounge access, be aware of some important changes.

Starting January 1, 2025, the bank will require cardholders to spend a certain amount to receive free access to domestic airport lounges.

Spend Requirements for Lounge Access

To get complimentary lounge access at domestic airports, you’ll need to meet the following spending criteria in the previous calendar quarter:

To get free lounge access at domestic airports in India, Bank of Baroda credit card users will now need to meet specific spending requirements in the previous calendar quarter.

Depending on the type of credit card, you will need to spend between Rs 20,000 and Rs 40,000 to qualify for lounge access.

Eterna, Eterna-FD, Tiara, Varunah Premium: Spend ₹40,000 – Unlimited lounge access

ICAI Exclusive, ICMAI One, ICSI Dimond: Spend ₹40,000 – 3 lounge accesses

Varunah Plus, The Sentinel, Rakshamah, Yoddha, Corporate: Spend ₹20,000 – 2 lounge accesses

Premier, Premier-FD, HPCL: Spend ₹20,000 – 1 lounge access

Quarterly Discount for New Credit Cards

For newly issued BoB credit cards, the minimum spending requirement for lounge access will be waived for the cardholder’s first calendar quarter. However, this discount does not apply to card upgrades.

Special Discount for Newly Issued Cards

For customers with newly issued Bank of Baroda credit cards, the minimum spending requirement will be waived for the first calendar quarter.

However, this offer only applies to new cards and not to card upgrades.

These changes will come into effect on January 1, 2025, so credit card users should plan their spending accordingly to continue enjoying lounge access.
