Kia India has officially launched the second-generation Seltos in the Indian market.

Prices start at ₹10.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to ₹19.99 lakh for the top-spec variant.

Production has begun at Kia’s Anantapur plant in Andhra Pradesh.

The new Seltos is built on Kia’s global K3 platform, offering a stronger structure for better stability, safety, and comfort.

Kia claims the SUV now provides a smoother and more enjoyable driving experience, strengthening its position in the competitive mid-size SUV segment.

Advanced Safety Features

Safety has been a key focus for Kia.

All variants come with six airbags, ABS, electronic stability control, and hill-start assist as standard.

The top variants get Level-2 ADAS technology, which includes 21 autonomous safety features for enhanced protection.

The new Seltos also gets a refreshed design with Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ styling language.

It is longer at 4,460 mm and has a bigger wheelbase, offering more cabin space and a stronger road presence.

Exterior highlights include a digital Tiger Face, automatic flush door handles, Ice Cube LED projector headlamps, and new alloy wheels, giving the SUV a premium and modern look.

Tech-Loaded and Luxurious Cabin

Inside, the Seltos focuses on technology and comfort.

Its standout feature is the 75.18 cm panoramic display, which combines the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster.

Other features include an 8-speaker Bose sound system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Higher variants offer ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat with memory function, relaxation mode, and a welcome retract feature, giving passengers a truly premium SUV experience.

Engine and Variants

The powertrain options remain the same as before.

The SUV comes with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-liter turbo petrol, and a 1.5-liter CRDi diesel engine.

Transmission choices include manual, iMT, IVT, DCT, and torque converter automatic.

Kia offers the new Seltos in four main trims – HTE, HTK, HTX, and GTX/X-Line – with various optional packs.

Overall, the new Seltos is now safer, more tech-loaded, and more premium, making it an attractive option for SUV buyers looking for style, comfort, and advanced features.
