New Aadhaar App Now available on Play Store

After a long wait, the new Aadhaar app is finally available for download on the Google Play Store.

Although it is in early access, Android users can install and use it right away. However, the app is not yet available for iPhone users, as it has not been released on the Apple App Store.

How to Install the Aadhaar App

To install the app, follow these steps:

Search “Aadhaar” on the Google Play Store.

Look for the app that appears second in the list and is developed by UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India).

Make sure you install it on a phone that has the SIM linked to your Aadhaar number.

Verify that it’s the official UIDAI app before downloading.

How to Use the Aadhaar App

Once installed, here’s how to get started:

Choose your preferred language.

Enter your Aadhaar number.

A verification SMS will be sent — ensure your phone has the SIM linked to your Aadhaar.

Complete face authentication by positioning your face within a circle on the screen.

Set a 6-digit PIN for added security.

You’ll now be logged into the app.
