A daughter is often called the Lakshmi of a family.
But today, she can also bring real financial support for her future.
The Ladli Laxmi Yojana by the Madhya Pradesh Government is designed to support girls from birth till adulthood.
Under this scheme, financial help is given in different stages, helping families secure their daughter’s future.
What Is Ladli Laxmi Yojana?
This scheme was launched to encourage the birth and education of girls in Madhya Pradesh.
Under this plan, the government provides a total of ₹1.43 lakh to eligible girls from school years till they turn 21.
Earlier, the amount was ₹1.18 lakh, but it has now been increased.
The money is not given at once.
Instead, it is released in parts during important stages like school admission and higher education.
How Much Money Do You Get?
The scheme provides financial support at different milestones:
₹2,000 when the girl enters Class 6

₹6,000 each in Class 11 and 12
₹25,000 for graduation or a professional course (in two parts)
₹1,00,000 when she turns 21
This final amount is given only if the girl completes Class 12 and follows the legal age for marriage.
