Motorola is known for rolling out updates and security patches slowly, but this time it’s doing the opposite.
The latest Android 15 update, which was recently launched by Google, has been spotted on Motorola’s mid-range phone, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, right after Google’s Pixel devices.
Android 15 Update for Motorola Edge 50 Fusion
Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, launched a few months ago, is now receiving the Android 15 beta update. Google recently started rolling out this update to its Pixel smartphones,
and now Motorola has joined the race. Users of other smartphone brands were eagerly waiting for the update, but Motorola Edge 50 Fusion users can check for it in their phone settings.
If the update is available, they can download and install it.
If not, users may need to wait a few days as the company gradually rolls it out. Since it’s a beta version, it might only be available to a select group of users for now.
A user on X (formerly Twitter) shared a screenshot of the update, mentioning that the Android 15 update has started rolling out to Motorola Edge 50 Fusion in India, along with the October security patch.
Key Features of Android 15
The Android 15 update brings several improvements, including enhanced camera performance, especially in low light.
One of the major highlights is the new “Private Space” feature, which allows users to securely store sensitive information.
Another key addition is the “Theft Detection Lock,” which uses AI to keep data safe. Besides these, many other new features are included in the Android 15 update.

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion gained attention during Flipkart’s festival sale, where it was available for under Rs 20,000 with offers.
