Motorola Rolls Out android 16 Beta for Select Phones

Google usually launches its new Android version in October, but this year the company surprised everyone by releasing Android 16 in early June.

Following this, Motorola has also started working on bringing Android 16 to its smartphones.

The company is offering its users a chance to try out the update through the Android 16 beta testing program.

According to Gizmochina, the program has already started on several Motorola devices, including the latest foldable phones, mid-range Edge models, and even some budget smartphones.

Here is a list of Motorola devices currently eligible for Android 16 beta testing. Check if your device is included or not.

So far, Motorola has released the Android 16 beta update for three devices — Edge 50 Fusion, Edge 50 Pro, and Edge 60 Pro.

Currently, the update is available only in select regions, but it may expand to other regions later. If your phone is in the list, you may need to wait a little.

How to Join Motorola’s Android 16 Beta Program

Motorola’s beta program is officially known as the MFN (Motorola Feedback Network). To receive beta updates, you need to sign up.

Follow these steps to join:

Create an account on Motorola’s community website (if not already done).

Go to your profile page and update your IMEI or Serial Number (SN).

Select MFN in your Motorola community profile.

Make sure your phone is running the latest software version.

Visit the MFN Beta Testing Opportunity page to check availability for your device.

Tap on the registration link for your Motorola phone.

Fill in the required details and submit your application.

After registering, keep an eye on your email inbox for updates from Motorola. Also, check your spam or junk folder to avoid missing any important emails.

Things to Remember Before Installing the Beta

Ensure your device has enough storage space.

Battery should be at least 30% charged.
