Price Reductions Marking MG’s 100th Anniversary
In honor of completing a century, MG Motors has reduced prices on its electric vehicle range.
The Comet EV now sports a new price tag of ₹6.99 lakh (ex-showroom), down from its previous ₹7.98 lakh, reflecting a substantial reduction of approximately ₹1 lakh.
Furthermore, the pricing of the MG ZS EV Executive variant has been updated to ₹18.98 lakh.
This revision comes as part of MG Motors’ commemorative celebrations, wherein discounts have been extended to their EV offerings.
Tata Motors Also Joins Price Reduction Trend
In a similar move, Tata Motors has recently slashed prices on its electric vehicle models. The company announced reductions of up to ₹1.20 lakh on its electric cars, passing on the benefits of decreased battery cell costs directly to consumers.
Notable adjustments include the Nexon EV, now available starting at ₹14.5 lakh, marking a reduction of ₹20,000.
Additionally, the price of the Tiago electric variant has been slashed by ₹70,000.
