Mercedes-Benz has introduced a new electric car, the EQA 250+, in the Indian market on July 8, 2024.
This latest offering from the German luxury car manufacturer boasts an impressive range and modern features, aimed at appealing to eco-conscious consumers.
Impressive Range and Performance
The Mercedes EQA 250+ claims a range of 560 km on a single charge,
making it a compelling option for those looking for long-range electric vehicles.
It is equipped with a 70.5 kWh battery pack and can reach a top speed of 160 km/h.
The running cost is estimated at Rs 1 per kilometer.
Fast Charging Capabilities
The EQA 250+ comes with a single motor variant producing 188 BHP and 385 Newton meters of torque.
It takes 7 hours and 15 minutes to charge using an 11 kW AC home charger.
However, with a 100 kW fast charger, it can charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 3 hours.
The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds.
Record Sales and Future Plans
In the first half of 2024, Mercedes-Benz India saw a nine percent increase in sales, reaching 9,262 units, marking its highest sales for a half-year period.
This growth was driven by strong demand and a wide range of available models.
Mercedes-Benz India plans to introduce six new products in the second half of 2024.
Santosh Iyer, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Mercedes-Benz India, attributed the success to new and updated products, improved customer experiences, and positive customer sentiments.
