But now, Maruti is adding 6 airbags in all variants of the Wagon R to enhance passenger safety. This upgrade follows a recent safety update in another Maruti car, the Grand Vitara.

Even after adding 6 airbags, Maruti has not increased the price of the Wagon R.
There has been no official announcement regarding any price hike. The ex-showroom price of the Wagon R starts at ₹5.65 lakh.
Engine and Performance
The Wagon R runs on a 1197 cc, K12N, 4-cylinder engine. It produces 66 kW (89.73 PS) of power at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm.
The car is available with AGS (Auto Gear Shift) transmission and comes in nine different variants.
