Maruti Suzuki India has launched its new midsize SUV, Victoris, in the Indian market.
It will be available in six trims – LXI, VXI, ZXI, ZXI(O), ZXI+ and ZXI+(O), sold through the Maruti Suzuki Arena dealership network.
After the 2023 Grand Vitara, this is the company’s second midsize SUV, which will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, Honda Elevate and even Maruti’s own Grand Vitara.
Exterior and Interior Design
Exterior:
The Victoris takes design inspiration from the upcoming Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara electric SUV. Key highlights include:
Large LED headlights connected by a slim chrome grille
Thick body cladding and a silver skid plate
18-inch alloy wheels, black pillars, silver roof rails, and square-shaped cladding
At the rear, a segmented LED light bar with bold ‘VICTORIS’ lettering
Interior:
Inside, the Victoris looks more modern and tech-focused than the Grand Vitara. It comes with:

Engine and Performance
Victoris offers three powertrain options, similar to the Grand Vitara:
1.5L 4-cylinder mild-hybrid petrol – 103hp
1.5L 3-cylinder strong-hybrid petrol – 116hp
1.5L petrol-CNG – 89hp (with CNG tank placed underbody to maximize boot space)
Gearbox options:
5-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic (petrol)
e-CVT (strong hybrid)
5-speed manual (CNG)
It also gets an all-wheel drive (AWD) option, and on a full tank, it can deliver a driving range of up to 1200 km.
