In an exciting development for automotive enthusiasts, Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to introduce four new cars in the Indian market over the next year.

The lineup includes the highly anticipated foray into the electric vehicle segment with an all-new electric SUV, inspired by the innovative eVX concept.

Alongside this electrifying addition, Maruti Suzuki is set to unveil the new generation Swift and DZire within the next 2-3 months.

Adding to the anticipation, the company is also preparing to launch a new 3-row SUV based on the Grand Vitara, expected to hit the roads in the first quarter of 2024.

New Generation Swift and DZire: A Sneak Peek

The next-gen Suzuki Swift has already made waves in the Japanese market, and Indian enthusiasts can expect its arrival soon.

Both the new Swift and DZire have been spotted undergoing rigorous testing on Indian roads, hinting at an imminent launch.

Anticipated to debut between February and March 2024, these models are based on the modified HEARTECT platform, similar to the one powering the Baleno.

Inside, expect interiors reminiscent of the Baleno hatchback. Powering these models will likely be a robust 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z-series engine, delivering 82bhp and 108Nm of torque.

Electrifying Arrival: Maruti Suzuki eVX Electric SUV

Marking Maruti Suzuki’s entry into the electric vehicle domain, the production version of the eVX electric SUV is poised to make its grand entrance around September-October 2024.

The electric marvel will roll off the assembly lines at Suzuki’s Gujarat plant and will boast a state-of-the-art skateboard platform.

Enthusiasts can anticipate the eVX to offer two battery options – a 60kWh and a 48kWh variant – promising both power and range.

Grand Vitara’s Expansion: Three-Row SUV in the Pipeline

Adding to its SUV portfolio, Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch the three-row version of the Grand Vitara, possibly as early as February 2024.

The new model is set to come equipped with petrol, hybrid, and CNG powertrains, offering consumers a variety of options to suit their preferences.

Positioned to rival the likes of the Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Alcazar, and Tata Safari, the three-row Grand Vitara promises to make waves in the competitive SUV segment.

As Maruti Suzuki gears up for an eventful year ahead, automotive enthusiasts eagerly await the unveiling of these new models, each promising innovation, performance, and excitement on Indian roads.
