Maruti Suzuki India is offering significant discounts on the entry-level Ignis model available at Nexa dealerships this September.
The discount for this stylish hatchback exceeds ₹50,000. Specifically, there is a ₹53,100 discount on the automatic variant and the Sigma MT variant.
The manual transmission variants, including Delta, Zeta, and Alpha, have a discount of about ₹48,100.
This offer is valid only until September 30. The starting ex-showroom price for the Ignis is ₹5.84 lakh.
New Cheaper Variant: Radiance Edition
In July, Maruti Suzuki launched the new Radiance Edition of the Ignis.
This edition is described as more stylish and feature-rich, with a starting ex-showroom price of ₹5.49 lakh.
This makes it ₹34,000 cheaper than the Sigma variant of the regular Ignis, which is priced at ₹5.84 lakh.
The Ignis, inspired by a small SUV design, was first introduced in India in 2017. Since then, over 2.8 lakh units have been sold.
The Radiance Edition includes some cosmetic upgrades, enhancing its appeal over the regular model.
It features a bold exterior design, premium interior, and modern technology, and is built on Suzuki’s Total Effective Control Technology (STECT) platform.
Specifications and Features
The Radiance Edition retains the same mechanical specs as other Ignis models. It comes with a 1.2-liter petrol engine producing 83 PS of power
and 113 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox. Maruti Suzuki claims a mileage of 20.89 km/l,
and the boot space is 260 liters. Note that Ignis is not available in a CNG variant.
