Thar SUV becomes costlier
This price hike is applicable only on select variants.
This includes the base-spec LX hard-top petrol AT RWD, AX(O) hard-top diesel MT RWD and LX hard-top diesel MT RWD variants. Prices of all other variants have not changed.
Mahindra Thar Latest Prices
After the price hike, Mahindra Thar prices now go from Rs 11.35 lakh to Rs 17.60 lakh for the AX(O) hard-top diesel MT RWD and Earth Edition diesel AT 4WD variants respectively.
All these prices are ex-showroom.
Delivery pending of 59,000 orders
Car manufacturer Mahindra has revealed that the bookings for Thar are the second highest compared to any of its SUVs.
The company has received approximately 59,000 bookings for it, the delivery of which is still pending.
Pending bookings include numbers for both Thar 4×4 and Thar RWD.
However, the waiting period of Mahindra Thar has reduced since last month. At present the waiting period for the RWD variant is quite high.
