Mahindra Discontinues Marazzo Due to low Sales

Mahindra’s cars are performing very well in the market, and people are liking them a lot. However,

there is one car from the company that no one wants to buy now, leading to its discontinuation. This car is the Mahindra Marazzo.

The Mahindra Marazzo was once considered the best 7-seater car of the company. But for a long time now, this car has not been attracting any customers.

As a result, the company has removed the Marazzo from its official website, indicating that it is no longer available for sale.

Reasons for Discontinuation

The Mahindra Marazzo was known as the company’s best MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle). However, it has been struggling to get customers recently.

In an effort to boost sales, the company even offered various discounts, but these efforts did not lead to any significant increase in sales. Consequently, Mahindra decided to discontinue this car.

In May 2024, only 16 units of the Mahindra Marazzo were sold, compared to 721 units sold in the same month last year.

In the Indian market, the Marazzo used to compete with vehicles like the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Kia Carens.

Features and Performance

The Mahindra Marazzo came with a powerful 1.5-liter diesel engine that produced 121 bhp of power and 300 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The car also featured impressive safety options like ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and airbags.

Additionally, it included a 7-inch infotainment system, remote keyless entry, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, auto climate control, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
