Maharashtra Govt Makes eKYC Compulsory for Ladki Bahin Yojana

The Maharashtra government has made the eKYC process compulsory for all women enrolled in the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana.

This step has been taken to make the scheme more transparent.

To continue receiving the monthly financial assistance of ₹1,500, every beneficiary must complete the online identity and document verification (eKYC).

Last Date: November 18, 2025
If you haven’t completed your e-KYC yet, do it as soon as possible.

The deadline is November 18, 2025.

After this, eKYC will need to be renewed every year by June.

If you miss the deadline, your ₹1,500 monthly installment will be stopped.

How to Complete eKYC Online

Follow these steps to complete your eKYC from home:

Visit the official website: ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in

Click on the eKYC option on the homepage.

Enter your Aadhaar number and fill in the captcha code.

Tick the “Yes, I agree” checkbox and click Send OTP.

Enter the OTP received on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.

If your eKYC is already done, the message “eKYC already done” will appear.

If not, the system will check whether your Aadhaar number is registered under the scheme.

If it is, the next step will open, and you can continue to complete the process.

How to Complete eKYC Offline

If you face any issues online, you can complete your eKYC at:

Nearest Anganwadi Centre

Setu Centre

Tehsil Office

Carry these documents:

Aadhaar card

All original documents required for verification

Eligibility Criteria

Women who meet the following conditions can apply:

Permanent residents of Maharashtra

Age 21 to 65 years

Annual family income below ₹2.5 lakh

Must have an Aadhaar-linked bank account

Eligible categories: Unmarried, married, widowed, divorced, abandoned, or destitute women

Families owning large property or four-wheelers will not be eligible
