LPG Cylinder Price Cut 1 July 2025: The Modi government has given some relief to the public from July 1 by reducing the price of LPG cylinders. The price of commercial LPG cylinders has been reduced by ₹58.50.
This cut applies to the 19 kg commercial cylinder. However, there has been no change in the price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders.
This price reduction will mostly benefit businesses like hotels, restaurants, and small traders who use commercial cylinders regularly.

As per Indian Oil’s website, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has dropped by ₹58.50, while the price of the domestic 14.2 kg cylinder remains unchanged.
In Delhi, the commercial cylinder will now cost ₹1,665, down from ₹1,723.50. In Mumbai, the price has decreased from ₹1,674.50 to ₹1,616.

Multiple Price Cuts in 2025
Commercial LPG cylinder prices have been going down for the past few months. In 2025, the prices were cut in April, May, and June.
Rates dropped by ₹41 in April, ₹14.50 in May, and ₹24 in June. Earlier, prices went up by ₹6 in March but were reduced by ₹7 in February. Now, with this new cut in July, consumers have once again received some relief.
No Change in Domestic LPG Cylinder Prices
While commercial cylinder prices have come down, there has been no change in domestic cylinder prices. In Delhi, the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder still costs ₹853.

Ujjwala Yojana Offers ₹300 Subsidy per Cylinder
Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY), around 10 crore families receive a subsidy of ₹300 per cylinder. This amount is directly credited to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts.
