LPG Price Update: Gas prices are reviewed at the beginning of every month. While prices don’t always change, a decision is made whether to increase, reduce, or keep them the same.
This May, there has been no change in domestic gas prices so far, but commercial gas prices have gone down for the second month in a row.
Commercial LPG Cylinder Prices Reduced Again:
The price of the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder remains unchanged, but the price of the 19 kg commercial cylinder has dropped.
As per the new rates effective from May 1, the 19 kg cylinder now costs ₹1747.50 in Delhi.
In April, the price was ₹1762, and in March, it was ₹1803. This shows a total decrease of ₹55.50 over two months, and ₹14.50 in the last month.
How Does This Help Common People?
The 19 kg LPG cylinder is mostly used in commercial places like hotels and restaurants.
So, when its price goes down, these businesses may reduce food prices. This could benefit customers as eating out might become slightly cheaper.
