LPG Cylinder Prices cut in December

December has started with some good news.

Oil marketing companies have reduced the price of LPG commercial cylinders, and the changes came into effect from Monday, December 1.

The reduction applies only to commercial LPG cylinders.

The price of the 14.2 kg domestic cylinder remains unchanged.

In recent months, commercial cylinder prices have seen several adjustments.

In November, the price dropped by ₹5, in September by ₹51, but in October it increased by ₹16.

How Much Has the Commercial LPG Price Dropped?

According to Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by ₹10.

Here are the new prices in major cities:

Delhi: ₹1,580.50 (earlier ₹1,590.50)

Kolkata: ₹1,684 (earlier ₹1,694)

Mumbai: ₹1,531 (earlier ₹1,541)

Chennai: ₹1,739.50 (earlier ₹1,749.50)

These small reductions continue the trend of price adjustments seen over the past few months.

Domestic LPG Cylinder Prices Remain the Same

Oil companies have not changed the price of domestic LPG cylinders.

The 14.2 kg domestic cylinder continues to cost between ₹850 and ₹960 in most cities.

Here are the prices in key locations:

Delhi: ₹853

Mumbai: ₹852.50

Lucknow: ₹890.50

Varanasi: ₹916.50

Ahmedabad: ₹860

Hyderabad: ₹905

Patna: ₹951

Domestic gas users will continue paying the same rates as before.
