Getting information about verified Aadhaar Centers near you is about to become much simpler.
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has partnered with Google to bring Aadhaar Center details directly to Google Maps.
With this new feature, people across India will be able to locate authorized Aadhaar Centers quickly and easily.
The goal is to make it more convenient for everyone to access essential identification services without the usual hassle.
More Than Just Locations
Google Maps won’t just show where an Aadhaar Center is.
It will also provide details about the services offered at each center, such as adult enrollment, child enrollment, or updates to existing Aadhaar information.
Other useful details will include facilities for people with disabilities, parking availability, and operating hours.
This information will cover over 60,000 centers nationwide, including Aadhaar Seva Kendras, helping users find the right center quickly.
Plans to Make Services Even Simpler
UIDAI CEO Bhuvnesh Kumar says this is part of a bigger effort to make Aadhaar services easier and more transparent.
Google also plans to introduce tools that will allow Aadhaar Centers to manage their information and receive public feedback.
There are even plans to let users book appointments directly through Google.
If everything goes smoothly, this initiative could save a lot of time and make accessing Aadhaar services much less stressful.
