Concessions Under the Campaign

Under this special drive, LIC provided a concession on late fees for all Non-Linked Insurance Plans.

Policyholders could receive up to a 30% reduction in late fees, with a maximum concession of ₹5,000, provided their policy was eligible for revival under the scheme.

Additionally, policies belonging to specific eligible plans could be revived within five years from the date of the first unpaid premium, subject to LIC’s terms and conditions.

Only those policies that are still within their premium-paying term and have not completed their full policy term are eligible for revival.

LIC’s Advice to Policyholders

In its official statement, LIC said the campaign was designed to benefit policyholders who missed premium payments due to unforeseen circumstances.

“Policies must be kept active to enjoy full insurance benefits. We encourage policyholders to review their old policies and restore their insurance cover at the earliest,” LIC stated.

Final Reminder

Since the campaign concludes today, eligible policyholders who have not yet revived their lapsed policies are advised to act immediately by visiting their nearest LIC branch or contacting their LIC agent to complete the revival process.
