Targeting Religious and Wildlife Tourism

The Leela is a well-known brand in India’s luxury hotel industry. Schloss Bangalore is now focusing on religious and wildlife tourism, two fast-growing segments in India.

A 30-room hotel in Bandhavgarh will be launched.

Hotels will also open in Ayodhya, Mumbai, Sikkim, and Srinagar.

A Leela Palace near the Taj Mahal in Agra is also under development.

Strong Focus on Luxury Segment

Currently, The Leela has a portfolio of 20 hotels, out of which:

13 hotels are operational, with a total of 3,550 rooms.

678 rooms are under development.

5 hotels are company-owned, while the rest are managed under agreements.

Bhatnagar explained that focusing on the luxury segment builds a premium brand image and helps increase profit margins.

Growth Linked to India’s Economy

The company has performed well in terms of revenue per available room (RevPAR), with a CAGR of 11%. Demand for luxury hotels in India is rising.

As India moves toward becoming a $7 trillion economy, the luxury hotel segment is expected to grow further.

Experts believe that investors who are interested in the luxury sector and hospitality growth can consider applying for the Schloss Bangalore IPO.
