Lava Launches New Budget Smartphone in India

Lava International has become more active in the Indian smartphone market. After launching the Lava Bold N2 in February

and the Lava Bold N2 Pro in March, the company has now introduced another affordable smartphone in April — the Lava Bold N2 Lite.

This new low-budget 4G smartphone has been launched at a price of ₹7,399. It is designed for users looking for an affordable phone with decent features.

Price, Sale Date, and Offers

The Lava Bold N2 Lite is priced at ₹7,399. During the initial sale, the company is offering a ₹400 coupon discount, which will bring the effective price down to ₹6,999.

This discount will be available to every customer, and no special bank card is required to get the offer.

The sale of the smartphone will begin on April 10 on Amazon. It will be available in two color options:

Under a special offer, Lava is also giving an extra discount of ₹500 on the purchase of two phones. This means customers can buy two smartphones for ₹12,498 under the deal.

Talking about the features and specifications, the Lava Bold N2 Lite 4G comes with a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 × 1600 pixels.

It features a waterdrop-style notch screen that supports a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and usage.

The phone has a 20:9 aspect ratio and comes with 2.5D glass protection.

In terms of size and weight, the smartphone measures 164.96 × 76.1 × 8.8mm and weighs 192 grams.

Processor, Software, and Performance

The Lava Bold N2 Lite 4G smartphone is powered by the UniSoc 9863A octa-core processor. This entry-level chipset runs at speeds of up to 1.6GHz.

The phone runs on Android 15 Go edition, which offers a clean and bloat-free experience.

Because it is the Go edition, apps are optimized to run smoothly even with low RAM and a lightweight processor. It also helps in reducing battery and internet consumption.

It also packs a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

For display, the phone features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Looking at the features, the Bold N2 Pro seems to be a better option, as it costs only ₹600 more than the Bold N2 Lite while offering significantly better specifications.
