Starting December 1, 2024, the price of LPG gas cylinders has gone up by ₹16.50. In Delhi, the cost of an LPG cylinder now stands at ₹1818.50.
This marks the second price hike in recent months, as LPG prices also increased at the beginning of November. These changes directly affect household budgets.
SBI Credit Card Rules Revised
New rules for SBI credit card users also come into effect from December 1. Previously, customers earned reward points for transactions made on digital gaming platforms
and merchants. However, under the new rules, such transactions will no longer qualify for reward points.
Enhanced OTP Security Rules
Telecom companies are rolling out new OTP (One-Time Password) traceability rules from December 1 to combat spam and phishing.
These changes will ensure all OTP-related messages are traceable, providing users with improved security.
December Bank Holidays
Banks will be closed on various dates in December due to festivals, events, and regular weekly holidays. In total, banks will remain shut for 17 days across different states.
