The bank has announced that several digital banking services will be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance.
Customers will not be able to access these services for a short period tonight, December 20th, and early morning on December 21st.
To avoid any inconvenience, it’s advised to complete important banking tasks in advance.
When Will the Services Be Down?
Kotak Mahindra Bank will carry out maintenance for 1 hour:
Date: December 21, 2025 (Sunday)
Time: 3:30 AM to 4:30 AM (IST)
During this window, the following services will be temporarily unavailable:
Old version of Kotak Bank App
New Kotak Bank App
Kotak811 Mobile Banking App
Net Banking
UPI and other payment services
ATM services (Note: transactions below ₹20,000 will still work)
What Customers Should Do
The bank has stated that this maintenance is necessary to improve the overall digital banking experience.
To avoid any disruption, customers are advised to complete essential tasks such as fund transfers, bill payments, and other important transactions either before or after the maintenance period.
This ensures you won’t face delays during the 1-hour downtime and can continue banking smoothly once services are restored.
