Kawasaki Unveils Two New Models for Ninja Enthusiasts in India

Japanese motorcycle giant, Kawasaki, known for its iconic Ninja and superbikes, made waves at the EICMA 2023 event in Milan, Italy.

The company unveiled two highly anticipated models, the Kawasaki Ninja 500 and the Kawasaki Ninja Z500, much to the delight of motorcycling enthusiasts in India.

Powertrain Teasers

While the exact details of the powertrains remain shrouded in mystery, Kawasaki did provide some tantalizing insights during a live press conference.

Both the Ninja 500 and Ninja Z500 are equipped with a liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, and it’s worth noting that the ‘500’ in their names alludes to a robust 451cc engine.

Kawasaki hinted that these new models would deliver over 400Nm of torque.

The Kawasaki Ninja 500 and Ninja Z500 promise an array of advanced features to enhance the riding experience. As a standard offering, both bikes feature an LCD display.

However, the top-tier variants come equipped with a cutting-edge TFT display boasting Bluetooth connectivity, along with a convenient USB-C charging point.

Exciting news for Indian motorcycle enthusiasts – these two powerful machines are set to hit the Indian market next year.

The company’s recent launch, the Eliminator 500, shares a parallel twin engine platform with these new models.

Expect a maximum power output of 45.4hp at 9000 rpm and a peak torque of 42.6Nm at 6000 rpm, promising an exhilarating ride.
