Jio relaunches Rs 999 Plan with Unlimited 5G Data and Extended Validity

Reliance Jio has quietly introduced a new prepaid plan priced at Rs 999.

Previously, Jio offered a Rs 999 plan before a tariff increase raised the price to Rs 1199.

Now, Jio has reintroduced the Rs 999 plan, labeled ‘Hero 5G’ on their website.

The old Rs 999 plan provided 3GB of daily data, while the new plan offers 2GB of daily data.

Despite the reduction in daily data, this new plan offers additional benefits.

Here’s a detailed look at what’s included in Jio’s new Rs 999 plan.

Jio brought a new plan of 999 rupees

Jio’s Rs 999 plan offers a validity of 98 days. With this plan, customers receive unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day, and 2GB of data daily, totaling 196GB of data over the entire validity period.

Additionally, this plan includes unlimited 5G data.

With a 5G phone and Jio’s 5G network available in your area, you can enjoy unlimited 5G data at no extra cost.

The daily cost of this Rs 999 plan is Rs 10.19, based on its validity.

The plan also provides access to Jio TV, Jio Cloud, and Jio Cinema.

Once you exceed the 2GB daily limit, your internet speed will drop to 64 Kbps.

Earlier, the validity was 84 days

Before the tariff hike, the Rs 999 plan offered 84 days of validity and 3GB of daily data, costing Rs 11.89 per day.

At that time, the average cost of 1GB of data was just Rs 3.96.

Now, with the plan’s validity extended to 98 days, the daily cost has decreased, but the average cost of 1GB of data has increased.
