Reliance Jio has introduced a new prepaid plan that offers unlimited 5G data at a very low price of Rs 198.
This is a significant change, as the company recently increased the prices of its recharge plans.
Previously, users needed to spend at least Rs 239 for unlimited 5G data before the price hike in July. After that, the minimum recharge amount for unlimited 5G was Rs 349.
The new Rs 198 plan now provides unlimited 5G data along with 2GB or more of 4G daily data.
Details of the New Plan
The Rs 198 plan is valid for 14 days and includes 2GB of daily 4G data. Users also get 100 SMS per day
and unlimited voice calls to any network. Additionally, this plan offers access to Jio apps like JioTV and JioCloud.
Access to Unlimited 5G Data
Unlimited 5G data is available only to users in areas where Jio’s 5G services are active.
To enjoy unlimited 5G data, users must have a 5G smartphone, as 4G devices cannot access 5G internet.
For 4G users, the daily data limit of the plan still applies.
With the Rs 198 plan, users get 2GB of 4G data per day for 14 days, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited voice calls to all networks.
This plan also provides access to Jio’s suite of apps, including JioTV and JioCloud.
