Jio launches New Plans with Only Calling & SMS

Jio’s Move After TRAI’s New Rule

Recently, TRAI directed telecom companies to introduce low-cost plans focused only on calling and messaging.

These plans aim to help users who rarely use mobile data. In response, Jio has released two affordable plans.

Details of Jio’s Two New Plans

₹458 Plan – 84 Days Validity

This plan offers unlimited calling for 84 days. You also get 1000 free SMS.

Additionally, you get free access to Jio Cinema and Jio TV for entertainment. National roaming is included at no extra cost.

₹1958 Plan – 365 Days Validity

If you prefer a yearly plan, this is ideal. It includes unlimited calling for 365 days, 3600 free SMS,

and free access to Jio apps. So, you can enjoy entertainment even without internet data.

Old Plans Removed

With these new plans, Jio has also stopped two of its previous ones. The ₹479 plan, which had 6GB data and 84 days validity,

and the ₹1899 plan, which offered 24GB data with 336 days validity, are no longer available.

These new voice-only Jio plans are perfect for users who use their phones mainly for calling and messaging. Now, you can get long-validity plans without data and at affordable prices.
