Mukesh Ambani, the prominent industrialist and owner of Reliance Industries, has given Jio users a major update.
Recently, his telecom company, Reliance Jio, had raised the prices of its recharge plans.
On July 3, the company surprised users by significantly raising the prices of its recharge plans.
The tariff increased by 12.5 percent to 25 percent. Users were unhappy with the price increase.
Following the hike, the company has re-launched its most popular plan priced at Rs 349 following user feedback.
The company has named this plan Hero 5G and has extended its validity as a benefit for users.
Previously, this plan had a validity of 28 days, which has now been extended to 30 days, giving you 2 extra days.
Additionally, it includes unlimited calling and 100 SMS daily.
Unlimited 5G data is available with it
Another advantage of this plan is that it includes unlimited 5G data.
If you have a 5G smartphone and Jio provides True 5G service in your area, you can use unlimited 5G data.
This plan provides 2GB of data daily. Previously, users received a total of 56GB data, which has now increased to 60GB.
The plan’s price was originally Rs 299 but was raised to Rs 349 on July 3.
Made this plan cheaper
This isn’t the first plan the company has adjusted. Previously, Jio reduced the price of its Rs 1,199 plan by Rs 200, lowering it to Rs 999.
The company also extended the validity of this plan by 14 days.
Previously, it was valid for 84 days, and now it has been increased to 98 days.
This plan offers 2GB of data daily, along with 100 SMS and unlimited calls each day.
