Easy Investment Access and Low Costs

These funds are available for investment on the Jio Financial app and many popular platforms like Groww, Zerodha, Paytm, INDmoney, Dhan, and Kuvera.

Being passive index funds, they come with a lower expense ratio compared to active funds, and they have minimal tracking errors.

The company says these funds are a great way to invest in a wide range of stocks across different market sizes and government securities.

What Is an Index Fund?

Index funds are known as passive investment funds. They simply follow a market index, such as the Nifty 50, and invest in the same companies that are part of that index.

Since these funds don’t require active decision-making by a fund manager, they are low-cost and efficient.

For example, a fund tracking the Nifty 50 will only invest in the 50 companies included in that index.

Company’s Vision and Support for Investors

Sid Swaminathan, MD & CEO of Jio BlackRock AMC, said that this NFO marks the beginning of their digital-first and data-driven investment platform.

He emphasized that the company aims to support investors at every step with cost-effective and reliable index fund options.

The AMC is also launching educational initiatives to guide both new and experienced investors in making informed investment decisions.
