itel A50 and A50C debut in India under Rs 6000 (See Feature & Specs)

A budget-friendly phone resembling the iPhone 14 has been launched in India. On August 13, 2024, itel introduced two smartphones, the A50 and A50C, to the Indian market.

Known for its feature phones, itel has equipped both models with a 5000mAh battery and a dynamic island display similar to the iPhone.

These phones are available in several color options in India. With this launch, itel is offering strong competition to brands like Redmi, Realme, Poco, and Lava in this price range.

Price

The itel A50 starts at Rs 6,099 and is available in two storage variants: 3GB RAM + 64GB and 4GB RAM + 64GB.

The top variant is priced at Rs 6,499. This model is offered in four color options: Cyan Blue, Mist Black, Lime Green, and Shimmer Gold.

Meanwhile, the itel A50C has been launched in a single storage variant with 2GB RAM + 64GB, priced at Rs 5,699.

Features

The itel A50 features a 6.56-inch display, while the A50C comes with a slightly larger 6.6-inch screen.

Both phones include a dynamic island feature and a punch-hole design, similar to the iPhone.

They are powered by the Unisoc T603 chipset and support 4G VoLTE network connectivity.

These itel phones offer up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card.

Both itel entry-level smartphones run on the Android 14 Go operating system.

They each have an 8MP AI rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Additionally, both models support a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The itel A50 has a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. In contrast, the itel A50C has a 4,000mAh battery with 5W charging support.

Both phones include connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
