iQOO launches iQOO 15 in India

iQOO has launched its premium Android smartphone, the iQOO 15, in India. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

Although iQOO is known for its gaming-focused phones, this model has been designed to meet the needs of both gamers and regular users.

In the Indian market, the iQOO 15 will directly compete with the recently launched OnePlus 15.

Specifications and Features

The iQOO 15 comes with a 6.85-inch M14 LED OLED display, offering 2K resolution and a 144Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate. It also includes a triple ambient light sensor and an anti-reflective coating.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and uses an 8K vapor chamber cooling system to keep temperatures under control.

It runs on OriginOS 6, and the company promises five years of OS updates and seven years of security updates.

Camera and Battery

The device features a 50MP triple rear camera setup and a 32MP front camera capable of recording 4K 60fps videos.

It is equipped with a 7,000mAh silicon-anode battery that supports 100W FlashCharge.

In India, the iQOO 15 is priced at:

₹72,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant

₹79,999 for the 16GB + 512GB variant

Sales start on November 27 at 12 PM for Priority Pass users, while non-Priority Pass buyers can purchase it from December 1.

Competition from OnePlus 15

The iQOO 15 will face strong competition from the OnePlus 15, which also comes with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

The OnePlus 15 has a 7,300mAh battery, along with a similar 50MP triple rear camera and 32MP front camera. Its pricing is identical to iQOO 15:
