If you’re an iPhone fan, here’s some good news. Apple is planning to launch the next iPhone 17 series soon.
Although the company has not officially announced anything yet, leaks suggest that a big launch event may happen on September 9, 2025.
This time, Apple is expected to release four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Let’s look at the details.
Possible Launch and Sale Dates for iPhone 17 Series
According to the German website iPhone-ticker.de, Apple will unveil the iPhone 17 series on September 9 this year.
Apple usually launches its iPhones every September, so this date fits their usual schedule.
If this is true, pre-orders might start on September 12 (Friday), and the phones could go on sale and begin shipping from September 19.
This matches earlier rumors that said the iPhone 17 series would be announced in the second week of September.
Mark Gurman, a well-known tech reporter from Bloomberg, also suggested Apple’s event might take place sometime between September 8 and 12.
To recall, Apple launches its new flagship iPhone every September. For example, the iPhone 16 series was launched on September 9, 2024 during the “It’s Glowtime” event, and the iPhone 15 series came out on September 12, 2023 at the “Wonderlust” event.
Specifications and Pricing
Reports say the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air will run on the A19 chip, while the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will have the stronger A19 Pro chipset. The screen sizes are expected to be:
iPhone 17 and 17 Pro: 6.3 inches
iPhone 17 Air: 6.5 inches
iPhone 17 Pro Max: 6.9 inches
The iPhone 17, 17 Air, and 17 Pro might have an aluminum frame, while the 17 Pro Max may come with a premium titanium frame, just like before.
As for pricing, all models except the base iPhone 17 may see a price increase of around $50 (about ₹4,000).
