Infosys offering up to Rs 8 Lakh to Employees for Hubballi relocation

Infosys, the country’s second-largest IT company, has launched a unique offer for its employees.

The company is providing up to Rs 8 lakh to employees who relocate to different cities. However, this offer is not available to all Infosys employees.

These employees can take advantage

Employees at Infosys who are in band-2 or above are eligible for this offer.

The opportunity is open to employees working at any of the company’s development centers nationwide, specifically those involved in project delivery.

To qualify, the employee must relocate to Hubli, Karnataka,

and Infosys will provide relocation support of up to Rs 8 lakh.

The company is focusing on small towns

The country’s second-largest IT company has devised a strategy to establish hubs in small cities rather than big ones.

As part of this strategy, offices have been set up in several tier-2 cities such as Indore, Navi Mumbai, Nagpur, Coimbatore, and Hubli.

Infosys aims to enhance its presence specifically in Hubli, Karnataka.

To support this initiative, the company has introduced an offer for employees who are being transferred to Hubli.

Those in the lower bands benefit so much

As per Infosys’ transfer policy, employees in band-3 or lower will receive an initial relocation allowance of Rs 25,000 upon shifting.

Additionally, they will receive Rs 25,000 every six months for a total duration of 2 years.

This amounts to a total benefit of Rs 1.25 lakh over 2 years for employees in band-3 or lower who relocate.

Employees in higher bands can receive relocation benefits up to Rs 8 lakh.

Infosys has more than 3.35 lakh employees

As of June 30, 2022, Infosys employs a total of 3,35,186 employees.

Established in 1981, the company ranks second in the domestic market, behind Tata Group’s TCS.

Currently, TCS employs over 6 lakh employees.

The IT sector is one of the largest employers in the country, providing jobs to a significant number of people.
