IndiGo has introduced its ‘Gesture of Care’ (GoC) package to support passengers affected by flight delays and cancellations.
This comes after major disruptions between December 3 and 5, 2025, when thousands of travellers faced long delays or stranded flights.
The airline says passenger care is its top priority, and the GoC package is designed to ease the inconvenience caused during this period.
Who Is Eligible for the GoC Package?
The package applies to passengers whose flights were affected between noon on December 3 and the end of December 5, 2025.
It covers flights cancelled within four hours of departure or delayed by more than three hours.
Children and infants are also eligible, with vouchers issued to their parents or guardians.
This ensures all passengers impacted by the disruptions can benefit.
Voucher Value, Usage, and Validity
Eligible passengers will receive travel vouchers worth Rs 10,000, split into two vouchers of Rs 5,000 each.
A family of three travelling on the same booking will receive three separate sets of vouchers.
Vouchers are single-use and non-transferable, linked to the passenger’s name.
They are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
Passengers can use them to book flights or redeem for extra services like pre-booked meals, seat selection, and excess baggage, as long as the booking is made through IndiGo’s website.
How to Claim Your IndiGo Vouchers
Claiming vouchers is easy:
Eligible passengers will receive an email with a secure link to access their vouchers.
Click the link to view and claim the vouchers.
If your email is not registered with IndiGo, you will need to register it first.
Once registered, the vouchers will be delivered within 24 hours.
With this initiative, IndiGo aims to make up for the inconvenience and help passengers continue their travel plans smoothly.
