The global computer outage, caused by a Microsoft server down, has significantly impacted air flight services.
Many airports in India have experienced disruptions in flight services and operations. Due to this technical issue, Indigo has canceled a large number of flights, officially announcing the cancellation of 192 flights so far.
Indigo gave information by posting on X
IndiGo has announced that, for now, the option to claim a refund or rebook flights is temporarily unavailable for those affected by cancellations.
The airline stated that the cancellations are due to the ‘widespread impact of the disruption in the global travel system,’ which is beyond their control. IndiGo also shared a link to a list of 192 canceled flights.
Additionally, IndiGo posted an update stating that flights are being delayed at the airport due to a “network-wide problem with Microsoft Azure.”
IndiGo has also informed passengers that the check-in process may be slow and queues may be long.
The company’s digital team is working with Microsoft to resolve the issue. For any assistance, passengers are advised to contact the on-ground team.

Passengers faced these problems at Delhi airport
The server outage affected many services at Delhi International Airport. Air passengers reported long waits at check-in and baggage counters, as well as non-functioning flight information display boards.

Flight operations of SpiceJet and Akasa Air were also affected
When the Microsoft server glitch occurred, reports of internet service disruptions emerged worldwide.
India’s budget carriers, SpiceJet and Akasa Air, also experienced temporary shutdowns of some online services.
Akasa Air announced on X that due to an infrastructure issue with the service provider, their online booking, check-in, and booking management services are temporarily unavailable.
As a result, they are conducting manual check-ins and boarding at the airport. Passengers with imminent travel plans are advised to arrive early and complete the check-in process at the airport.
