India’s budget airline, IndiGo Airlines, is launching a business-class service called IndiGo Stretch.
This announcement came in August as part of the celebration for its 18th anniversary.
The airline has shared a preview of the interior design of its new business class aircraft.
Passengers will now be able to book business class seats on flights connecting major metro cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad.
This new service positions IndiGo alongside major airlines like Air India, Air India Express, and Vistara, which already offer business-class services.
Focus on Affordability and Comfort
Despite this new offering, IndiGo plans to keep its focus on affordable travel options.
The introduction of business class aims to provide more choices for passengers.
The service was first launched on the Delhi-Mumbai route with an initial fare of Rs 18,018, and bookings began in August.
IndiGo intends to expand the IndiGo Stretch service to cover 12 routes by the end of next year.
