Summer vacations are about to begin, and many people are planning trips.

One such popular destination is Vaishno Devi Temple, where lakhs of devotees visit every year.
To manage this increasing crowd, Northern Railway has announced a big relief for passengers.
40 Special Train Trips Announced
The railway has decided to run 40 additional trips of a special train between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra.
According to officials, the train has been getting 100% occupancy in previous runs, which shows how popular it is among passengers.
Train number 04081 (New Delhi to Katra) will run from April 15 to July 15
Train number 04082 (Katra to New Delhi) will run from April 16 to July 16
Both trains will complete 40 trips each
This step is expected to make travel easier during the busy summer season.
Timing and Travel Schedule
The special train offers convenient timings for passengers:
Train 04081 will leave New Delhi at 11:45 PM and reach Katra at 12:00 noon next day
Train 04082 will leave Katra at 9:00 PM and reach New Delhi at 10:00 AM next day
Officials say this train is not just useful for pilgrims but also for tourists heading towards Kashmir and passengers traveling to stations in between.
Stations Where the Train Will Stop
During the journey, the train will stop at several important stations in both directions:
Panipat
Kurukshetra
Ambala Cantt
Ludhiana
Jalandhar Cantt
Pathankot Cantt
Jammu
Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan station
The train will have 21 coaches, which increases the chances of getting a confirmed ticket.
