So far, more than 86,000 post offices across India have been updated with this new system.

OTP-based delivery system
Deliveries will now be done through an OTP (One-Time Password) system. This will ensure the post reaches the right person securely.
DIGIPIN Service launched
A new DIGIPIN service is being introduced, which will work in place of the traditional PIN code. It will help in more accurate digital location identification.
Speed post booking with digital payments
Customers can now book speed posts using digital payment methods. This will save both time and effort.
Post bag space to be reserved on flights
The Postal Department is working with airlines to reserve cargo space for post bags in passenger flights.
