India is hosting one of its biggest technology events — the AI Impact Summit 2026 — at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

The summit has brought together global leaders, policymakers and tech experts to discuss the future of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the event, marking a major moment for India’s growing AI ambitions.

Due to huge public interest, the government has now extended the India AI Impact Expo 2026 by one more day.

AI Expo Extended After Massive Public Response

Originally scheduled from February 16 to February 20, the expo will now remain open until 8 PM (IST) on Saturday, February 21, 2026.

The extension was announced after an overwhelming response and heavy footfall at the venue.

However, visitors should note that the exhibition will remain closed on Friday, February 19, due to VIP movement and restricted events.

Officials said this temporary closure is meant to ensure smooth security arrangements and avoid inconvenience to the public.

The summit is being held at Bharat Mandapam, which has become the centre of AI discussions this week.

Timings, Entry Gates and Parking: What Visitors Should Know

The Ministry of Electronics and IT has shared detailed instructions for delegates and visitors.

At the Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre, entry is open from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

The Expo Area will remain open longer, from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

Sessions at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan will run from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Because parking is limited, visitors are strongly advised to use public transport, metro services or cabs.

Here’s how to enter:

Gate Number 4: Open from 8:00 AM for car and cab drop-offs

Gate Number 10: For metro arrivals (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM)

Gate Number 5A: For media personnel (opens at 8:00 AM)

Limited parking is available at Purana Qila Parking, Zoo Parking Space and JLN Stadium Parking.

Shuttle services will run from these locations to Gate Number 4 at Bharat Mandapam.

With global attention and strong public participation, the AI Impact Summit 2026 is turning into a landmark event for India’s AI journey.
