The weather has now changed again, and heavy rain has returned in several parts of the country.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Heavy Rain Alert for many states from October 7 to 10.
Weather in Rajasthan and Delhi
Rajasthan:
Several districts in Rajasthan have already seen heavy rainfall in recent days.
Currently, there is no official rain alert for the state. However, light drizzle may occur in some districts, and strong winds along with thunderstorms are expected in many areas between October 7 and 10.
Delhi:
Rain has returned to the national capital. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for light to heavy rain in Delhi during October 7-10. Thunderstorms and strong winds are also expected during this period.
States Expecting Heavy Rain
According to the IMD alert, heavy rain is expected in many states across India on October 7, 8, 9, and 10. These include:
North India: Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir
Central India: Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh
East India: Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Sikkim, Jharkhand
West India: Maharashtra, Goa, Konkan
Northeast India: Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Assam, Nagaland
South India: Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Yanam, Telangana
During this period, many places may also experience light rain, strong winds, thunderstorms, and lightning.
