ICICI Bank’s New Charges to Start from July 1, 2025 — ATM, Cash Transactions, and IMPS to Cost More

1 July 2025: ICICI Bank has announced new service charges that will come into effect from July 1, 2025.

These changes will apply to services like ATM usage, cash deposits and withdrawals, IMPS transfers, debit card fees, and demand drafts. Here’s a detailed look at the updated charges:

ATM Charges

At ICICI Bank ATMs

First 5 financial transactions per month will be free.

After that, each financial transaction will cost Rs 23.

Non-financial transactions (like balance enquiry) will remain free.

Senior citizens will not be charged for ATM transactions.

At Other Bank ATMs

In metro cities, 3 transactions are free.

In non-metro cities, 5 transactions are free.

After the free limit:

Rs 23 per financial transaction

Rs 8.50 per non-financial transaction

International ATMs

Cash withdrawal: Rs 125

Currency conversion charge: 3.5%

Non-financial transactions: Rs 25

IMPS Transfer Charges

Transfer up to Rs 1,000: Rs 2.50 per transaction

Rs 1,001 to Rs 1 lakh: Rs 5 per transaction

Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh: Rs 15 per transaction

Cash Deposit & Withdrawal Charges

First 3 cash transactions per month at branches or CRMs are free.

After that, each transaction will be charged Rs 150.

For cash deposits above Rs 1 lakh, the charge is Rs 150 or Rs 3.50 per Rs 1,000, whichever is higher.

Third-party cash deposits are limited to Rs 25,000 per transaction.

The same rules apply to cash withdrawals:

3 free transactions

Rs 150 per additional transaction

Value-based charges will apply on withdrawals above Rs 1 lakh

Third-party withdrawals are also capped at Rs 25,000 per transaction

Debit Card Charges

Annual fee:

Rs 300 for general customers

Rs 150 for customers in rural areas

Replacement card: Rs 300

These new charges will mainly impact customers who frequently use cash deposit, withdrawal, or ATM services. To avoid extra costs, customers are advised to manage and plan their transactions carefully.
