If you are planning to buy the Hyundai Xter this month, be ready to spend a little more. Hyundai has increased the prices of its entry-level SUV by up to ₹5,700. The price hike is around 0.91%, depending on the variant.
Along with the price revision, Hyundai has also introduced new dual-tone (DT) variants in the petrol-manual, petrol-AMT, and CNG-manual lineups.
Price Hike Up to ₹5,700
The biggest price increase has been seen in the HX3 and HX4 petrol-manual variants. Both variants have become ₹5,700 more expensive.
In the petrol-manual range, prices now start at ₹5.80 lakh for the HX2 variant and go up to ₹8.39 lakh for the HX8 variant (ex-showroom).
For the petrol-AMT lineup, most variants have received a uniform price increase of ₹3,700. Hyundai has also added two new dual-tone variants – HX6 DT and HX10 DT.
In the CNG range, the HX2 variant remains unchanged, while other variants have become costlier by ₹700. A new HX6 DT CNG variant has also been introduced.
Hyundai Xter Engine Options
The Hyundai Xter is available with a 1.2-litre petrol engine in manual and AMT options. Buyers can also choose a factory-fitted CNG version with a manual gearbox.
The SUV continues to target budget-conscious buyers looking for a compact SUV with modern features and multiple fuel choices.
Features of EX Variant
The EX variant comes with a 1.2-litre petrol manual engine and several safety features.
It gets 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, central locking, keyless entry, 3-point seat belts for all passengers, seat belt reminders, LED tail lamps, body-coloured bumpers, and a digital instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch MID.
Other features include front power windows, adjustable rear headrests, manual AC, driver seat height adjustment, rear parking sensors, and regional language support.
The EX (O) variant additionally offers Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist, and Vehicle Stability Management.
Features of S Variant
The S variant is available with petrol manual, petrol AMT, and CNG manual powertrains.
In addition to EX features, it gets a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, voice recognition, four speakers, steering-mounted controls, rear AC vents, rear power windows, and electrically adjustable ORVMs.
Other highlights include a USB Type-C port, rear parcel tray, day/night IRVM, wheel covers, and electrically folding ORVMs in the AMT version.
Features of SX Variant
The SX variant adds several premium features over the S trim.
It includes a rear parking camera, rear defogger, ISOFIX child-seat mounts, projector headlamps, 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, shark-fin antenna, electric sunroof, paddle shifters in the AMT version, and cruise control in petrol variants.
Features of SX (O) Variant
The SX (O) trim is available with the 1.2-litre petrol manual and AMT powertrains.
Additional features include automatic headlamps, footwell lighting, smart key with keyless entry, push-button start, wireless charger, 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather-wrapped gear lever, cooled glovebox, rear wiper and washer, and a luggage lamp.
Top Variant Gets More Connected Features
The top-spec version comes with all SX (O) features and adds a dashcam, front and rear mudguards, an 8-inch touchscreen with BlueLink connectivity, ambient sounds of nature, Home-to-Car control with Alexa, and over-the-air (OTA) updates for maps and infotainment.
