Buying a Maruti Suzuki Jimny has become more expensive. As part of its August 2026 price revision, Maruti Suzuki has increased the price of the entire Jimny range by ₹15,000.
The price hike applies to both Zeta and Alpha variants, including manual, automatic, mono-tone, and dual-tone models.
After the revision, the Jimny’s ex-showroom price now starts at ₹12.54 lakh and goes up to ₹14.67 lakh.
Jimny Features Remain the Same
Despite the price hike, Maruti Suzuki has not made any major changes to the Jimny. The five-door lifestyle SUV continues with the same rugged design and features.
It comes with round projector headlamps, a five-slot front grille, fog lamps, alloy wheels, a tailgate-mounted spare wheel, and a boxy off-road look.
Power comes from a 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine that produces 103 bhp and 134 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox.
Although an electric version of the Jimny has been spotted testing overseas, it is unlikely to launch in India anytime soon.
Brezza CNG Variants Also Get a Price Hike
Maruti Suzuki has also increased the prices of selected Brezza CNG variants by ₹5,000.
The affected models are Brezza LXi CNG, ZXi CNG, and ZXi CNG Dual-Tone.
Prices of all other Brezza variants remain unchanged. After the revision, the Brezza is priced between ₹7.40 lakh and ₹13.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
New Baleno Launch on September 5
Maruti Suzuki is also getting ready to launch the 2026 Baleno facelift in India on September 5.
The updated hatchback is expected to get a refreshed front grille, new headlamps, redesigned bumpers, and new alloy wheels. Reports also suggest that it will be offered with four engine-gearbox combinations.
For the first time, the Baleno CNG could be available with an AMT gearbox, giving buyers more transmission choices.
